"The Duke of Squigmann" script, Scene C

The next scene is set right after B, in the girls' bedroom, with "continuous action."

Carmine talking in his sleep was omitted, "Please, Shirl.  What do you mean, not yet?  It's our golden wedding anniversary.  I never heard of a fifty-year headache."  And we lost Squiggy picking up a knickknack and asking, "What, may I ask, is this asinine knick knack?"  Squiggy was supposed to call Carmine's "taste in post pubescent make-up" excellent rather than ridiculous.  After Squiggy exits, Carmine was scripted to lay down, sit back up, and say, "Post-pubescent make-up!?"

But otherwise the short scene is intact.  Carmine's dream (nightmare?) about Shirley is interesting, but sounds like it would've distracted from an episode where we've already got Squiggy talking, walking, etc. in his sleep.

  1. OK, Carmine's sleep talking is pretty funny and IC.

    1. Yeah, it is. And I'm trying to remember if we find out about any of his dreams in canon. (Obviously, we get the girls' and I think the boys'.)
