Well, in the episode they sing "Splish Splash," which I guess was grandfathered in by Happy Days music rights or something, because it's on the DVD copy. And they are carrying Texaco glasses instead of a snow tire. This exchange was omitted:
CARMINE
Keep it down. Did you guys do everything you had to do at the gas station?
SQUIGGY
Yep, but before they let us use the faculties we had to buy something first.
LENNY
Worked out good, thought [sic]. We owed the girls a 'thank-you' present anyway. (INDICATES TIRE)
Interestingly, when the boys settle down to sleep, "Lenny has Jeffry, an iguana." I saw no sign of Jeffry in the scene, but it is good to get a presumably canonical spelling.
After Lenny's lullaby, he was supposed to say, "What are you, a horse?" one more time and laugh.
It's a very short scene, about two pages, and it is mostly intact.
There's something innately adorable about Jeffrey being spelled Jeffry.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it could be one of the many, many typos that these scripts are littered with, but I prefer to think that that's how the boys spell it. Also, I guess by late in Season Five, Jeffry really is more Lenny's property than something Squiggy lets him share. (Is it "You Pushed Me Too Far" when Squiggy threatens Jeffry after Lenny does something to the moths?)
DeleteOh yes, they each had their special thing and Jeffry was Lenny's.
