"Short on Time" script, introduction
On October 5, 1982, over four months before "Short on Time" aired, its Rev. Shooting Script was good to go. From what I've heard, they delayed airing the episode, so that Edna's departure wouldn't appear too close to Shirley's, although of course Betty Garrett left at the end of the sixth season. Next time, I'll start to get into what changes happened between script and filmed episode, but first, have some wardrobe notes:
My favorite thing here is that Wes Eckhart had to provide costumes for Chuckie, and it looks like he wrote, "Oopsie-Chimp." And, yes, he had to specify that Star Trek was a series.
